DigiDelve Technologies, Inc. was initially founded in 2005 by Dr. Yee-Chun Lee to commercialize technology relating to its proprietary SBD. The SBD is based around the concept that the majority of light leaving a typical display is beamed to areas where there are no users.

As of 2006, DigiDelve Technologies, Inc. now currently researches, develops, and licenses a variety of OLED based technologies that:

• Improve the power efficiency of a mobile display up to 50 times
• Extend the lifetime of an OLED display significantly
• Reduce pixel level defects during manufacture
• Provide very strong collimation for point light sources

These technologies are in various stages of the development cycle, and all are actively being improved by the DigiDelve team.
